From Ruins to Hope: Ali Colley on UCB 2 with Matt Brown

Ali Colley, Founder and Director of Hope’s Therapy Dogs, joins Matt Brown on UCB 2’s My Story for a warm and honest conversation about faith, resilience, mental health, neurodiversity, and the story behind Hope’s Therapy Dogs.

In this interview, Ali shares how Hope’s Therapy Dogs grew from the legacy of her daughter, Hope, and how animal assisted intervention is now helping children, young people and adults find comfort, confidence and connection. Matt also speaks candidly about his own family experience of neurodiversity, opening up a thoughtful conversation about the pressures many families face and the importance of compassion, understanding and practical support.

Ali reflects on some of the personal and business challenges she has walked through, including seasons where life has felt deeply shaken, and speaks about her Christian faith and belief that God can bring beautiful things out of ruins.

The interview also highlights Hope’s 18th birthday fundraiser in partnership with Cash for Kids Liverpool & North West. On Friday 24th July, Hope’s Therapy Dogs will be holding a special afternoon tea at Aloft Liverpool to raise money to help prevent holiday hunger and support children who need practical help during the school holidays.
